Carbide burr set for wood.

If you need a great set of burrs for wood I would highly recommend getting this set. I work industrial maintenance so I have several sets of double cut and single cut burrs. I have recently gotten into doing wood projects for fun at my house. I have been using my single cut burrs for the wood and I just wasn’t very pleased with the performance. I figured I would try these out and I’m really glad I did. They cut great. I couldn’t be happier with this set of burrs and I would definitely recommend

High quality, precision made, straight shafts, easy to control, works well on wood, recommended.

If you are interested in wood power carving, these burrs are worthy of strong consideration. They offer a good assortment of shapes and come in a convenient plastic storage case that snaps shut. They fit perfectly in my rotary tool. The shafts are straight and they rotate without any wobble.I used the ball shaped burr to make a test cut for a scripted sign (see photo). The scrap wood piece I used was pine and it had been painted white. It was easy enough to control although any free hand…

If you use a Dremel tool these are perfect addition

These 10 pieces are almost perfect for every cutting job you might want when using a rotary Dremel tool on plastic or wood. My only regret, not a complaint, is that the set did not include a pure side-cutting cylinder shape. Another set by this same company does include such a shape. That said, these appear to be long-lasting and quite versatile. I have yet to explore how all the shapes can be used, but the three I tested worked quite well.

good set of burrs on my review.

I used these to carve fine details in hard woods. These are sharps and work great. I haven't tried on soft metal(s) yet. Overall, if you are looking for something like these for your woodworking projects, I would definitely give them a try.

Bought this set in a leap of faith since could not find a similar one locally. Since then I have been impressed by the quality and performance of this carbide burrs.

Excellent product for my opinion

Outstanding preformance. Will not plug-up if used on wood and soft metal (i.e. aluminum or brass). I used them to cut a quarter inch notch around the inside edge of a box to accept a seal- weather stripping.
