Good product in the cutting tools section

These are great products but mine never arrived, I'm sure Amazon lost it but I'm not sure. I need it urgently, I have some carvings and I need it asap! Normally it wouldn't matter, but this time it does!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great carving tool

I use these gourds for carving which have a soft balsa wood interior but are very hard (albeit thin) on the outside and have a natural varnish which helps hold things together easily. It's better than most when it doesn't clog. Not as quick and easy to keep clean as Sabur tooth burs, but the cut is smoother. Good product.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some issues

Great but quite expensive

Kutzall are the best and they have some of the best aggressive and thin ridges in probably 10 different styles/shapes. Personally, I really like regular conical drills and flame drills. I haven't tried any of their extra aggressive Extreme bits, but the regular ones cut enough wood that I can only imagine how well the Extreme bits work. The only negative I have to say about them is that they are quite expensive for a single burr. They have a 5% discount code but it only works if you order…

Roughing Dremel - great for woodcarvers

I'm a woodcarver. I mainly hand carve small details out of basswood, which is one of the softest woods. I enjoy doing some of my finishing work with my many Dremel attachments. This bit is good for quickly smoothing out a rough spot or rounding an edge. This nozzle removes dust particles very well. I'm attaching a picture of the type of thread I'm using this bit on.

What Diamond Coating

I would not recommend this nozzle if you are working with ceramics such as porcelain, stoneware etc or tiles. I thought using this attachment would greatly improve my speed and make my hands lighter. So I put the bit in my dremel and started cleaning the leg at the bottom of my pottery and noticed that not much happened using the bit. I then inspected the hole closely and to my astonishment 1/3 of the diamond coating was gone. At this point I returned to the sandpaper to finish my work. Revain…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Fragile
