When I first installed memory in an old computer I built a few years ago, I was surprised when the system didn't boot the first time. I checked everything, tried again and this time it booted but with an error saying the system couldn't boot the first time because the memory speed was too high and it rebooted at a slower speed. Since my old memory ran at 800MHz and this memory was supposed to run at 800, I was a bit disappointed and wanted to return it. However, after a few days a check of the system showed that it was running at 800 MHz and everything has been fine ever since. I think the problem might be in the BIOS. I've been using it for over three weeks now and I'm very happy with the results. 2GB of storage doesn't cut it anymore, and I really feel the difference. Definitely worth the price.
