These are the softest sheets I've ever had! They are just as well made as any 200k+ Egyptian cotton or Tencel bamboo sheets I've had, and much softer! They will look very shiny like satin right out of the box, but after 1 wash the tone is softer and the finish is gorgeous! (something like meringue before baking!) See pic. I liked the 16" deep pocket on the sheet and the wide elastic. Bow. The pockets on the ends of the pillowcases are handy for storing the pillowcase on top of the pillow and add an extra touch of flair to your bed a more finished and tasteful look a touch and would be good for quick sleepers Take this from the really discerning "sheet snob" It's AMAZING!
