Review on Silver Nikon COOLPIX A900 📷 Digital Camera – Optimize Your Photography Results by Rick Turner

I've been a serious photographer since 2000. Although I travel and shoot with the large Nikon D 7100 for important photos, I have used the small compact Nikon Coolpix S8200 for fun and carried the small but very good camera to concerts and performances where photography is not allowed. As a result, I was able to snap AMAZING photos and some videos (over 200ft away) of Cher, Santana, Eric Clapton, Andrea Bocelli, In Volo and other celebrities. The S 8200 is a 16 megapixel 14x (4.5-63mm) zoom camera and has served me VERY well for a camera that was under $300 at the time, was small and came in a handy leather case . and takes photos almost as sharp and true to color as my big Nikon D7100! Then about a month ago I saw the Coolpix A900 on the Nikon website and decided to upgrade to a better, more compact camera. I was NOT disappointed! The A900 is just as good (in terms of sharpness and color accuracy) and only slightly larger than the S8200, but has more megapixels (20MP) and larger zoom (4.3-151mm) at almost the same aperture range as the S8200. Also, the A900 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and after downloading the free Nikon app I can set the A900 to send pictures to the iPhone in case I want to send someone a picture right away (but obviously a better picture ). than I could shoot with an 8MP iPhone camera with a tiny lens) without having to wait for me to be in front of my home computer or laptop in my hotel room (while I'm on the road) to email it as an attachment send. The only things I would have liked from my S8200 for the A900 is the ability to easily see image metadata when the command dial is pressed and the S8200's ability to automatically pop up the flash when the camera is set to Auto . I'm not sure I like the fact that I have to manually pop up the flash on the A900 when I want to use the flash, although in a way I like that I don't have to think about my A900 camera accidentally flashes in case I forgot, which left it in either auto or forced flash mode (as is the case with the S8200). However, the A900 has some very nice features that my Coolpix S8200 doesn't have: if I take a portrait orientation photo, I can see it in full length when looking at the image by simply turning the camera sideways (as is the case with any other digital camera).camera), but I can still see the SAME image (albeit smaller) without turning the camera sideways. I also like the fact that the A900 has a movable LCD screen, which allows me to take pictures from the bottom up while observing what the lens sees from a comfortable position. All in all I really like my Nikon Coolpix A900 camera BETTER than my amazing Coolpix S8200 and I will be taking it to future gigs where photography or video is also not allowed! (Suggestion: why wouldn't Nikon make a similar camera with a small viewfinder and a way to turn off the LCD screen on the back of the camera? I say this because it annoys others when I try to take photos in a dimmed, bright LCD sit behind me, and it's a win-win (when I'm sitting at a concert where I'm taking photos or video) when the staff at the concert venue run up to me and tell me to put my camera down!)
