Wildly Inaccurate - my new review

I purchased this thermometer to monitor my temperature while recovering from Covid. Knowing that my temperature was just above 100 as measured by a proven under the tongue digital household thermometer, I immediately tried my new purchase, no touch forehead addition. It read 95.5. After a short period, my next reading was 97.5 followed by several more readings ranging between these numbers. In sum, this thermometer is wildly unreliable, inaccurate and useless. I tossed it in the garbage.

Amazing for a child or elderly adult that are impatient. Fast efficient and stress free. Love it.

Cons

Takes slightly longer to obtain a reading compared to traditional thermometers

This thermometer has been a life saver in these current times. I have 4 boys and I''m usually running around looking for the thermometer and the liners that go over the thermometer which for the life of me are never in the same place! With this one I don''t need any liners and I don''t have to wake anyone up in the middle of the night to check. It comes with a velvet feel tote bag so it''s not just out in the open where I imagine the sensor could get damaged. You can also change the mode from people to objects. Highly satisfied with this purchase.
