Cutter heads are not fixed in the unit. They often drop out. I was very excited to try this out with my new KitchenAide. I used it 3 times and each time the blade heads flew out of the device. The first 2 times I was able to process a large amount of veggies before the blade flew out. Last time I started by grating frozen butter. The device worked well with oil but was unsuitable for all other ingredients as the blade kept falling out. I doubt I will use it again. After all, my mandolin is easier.
