Repainting old furniture. I needed a small electric saw to make dresser backs out of a small, light-colored wood. I saw it and it seemed to suit my needs. Good. It cuts well and moves easily. BUT. painful to activate and use. To illustrate, imagine that you are holding a large cob of corn. On the right is a black plastic lever that needs to be pushed in to allow the plastic blade guard to move up. On the right is the "power button" or slider. It must be pushed forward with the thumb while holding the guard blade lever. The electric latch is VERY firm, you have to push forward with your thumb all the time to engage the saw and try not to let the other side slip and stop the saw. There is no way to push the bolt forward and keep it moving. It is hard on the hand and the hand deteriorates quickly. Those of you with big hands may not have this problem.
