Don't let some reviews put you off this gem. I was looking for something practical but inexpensive. I originally considered going for the Audio Technica LP-120 but settled on this one instead as I like the more classic wood finish compared to the LP-120 which has a more modern silver look. This player is fantastic. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it works great. Set up is super easy with the included instruction manual and once you've got it set up you just press the tonearm and bam! You will be transported to the 1950's and 60's with the full, clean, deep and rich sound this produces. Even at a higher volume range with a pair of bookshelf speakers, which I also bought from Revain, the highs and lows are crystal clear and the vocals are buttery smooth. Great buy for the price, looks fantastic if you're looking for that classic nostalgia.
