Review on 🀩 Jump into Joy: Skywalker Trampolines Mini Bouncer Enclosure Brings Fun & Safety Together by Jason Cho

Perfect Price for Bouncing Fun

This review is for the Seaside 60 Inch Round Bodied Trampoline. We bought this trampoline to replace the 48" Skywalker Bodied Round Trampoline (also available from Revain). It took 2 adults 60 minutes to set up this trampoline. The assembly did not seem difficult to me; However, this is not my first rodeo. After stumbling and crying while setting up and taking down our first Skywalker trampoline, we were old pros when it came down to it. YouTube has videos explaining the build process. I recommend anyone with a fiery temperament to check out one of these before getting started. All the necessary tools are included to assemble this, but I've found using a drill press speeds up the process. Once this bad boy is assembled your kids will all try to crash at once to jump. My 70lb 13, 30lb 3 and 50lb 10 all squeezed in and started jumping. It carried their weight (the recommended and safe maximum weight for use is 100 pounds), but it wasn't much fun because it didn't leave any of them room to maneuver. Ideally, this trampoline is good for 1 person at a time, but can comfortably accommodate up to 2 children weighing up to 100 pounds. I had three 3 year olds at the same time who were doing just fine, but once they started getting aroused they started bumping into each other. Children who are still working on their balance will benefit from a pole that rotates. Inner perimeter of the trampoline net. The pole is strong enough for a child to hold onto while jumping without the trampoline tipping over. Children might be tempted to grab the net when jumping, but I wouldn't recommend doing this as the net will break if there is enough pressure. I've never had it crack when kids fall on boards, but it cracked when older kids held it for balance while jumping up and down. This trampoline uses elastic cords instead of springs. The lack of springs means fingers and toes don't get pinched, but it also means you sacrifice some of the bounce you get from a regular spring trampoline. Since we bought this trampoline for our toddler and kids under 7, we think the bungee cords were the best choice for us. If we were looking for our teenager and teenager, we would definitely be looking for a trampoline with springs. Our 3 year old stepped on the trampoline from all sides and never hurt himself. I feel the foam covers on the metal bars provide enough cushion to prevent the biting that can happen if you hit the bare metal bars. Since we bought our trampoline for indoor use, we think 60 inches is too big. We miss the smaller footprint of the 48 inch Skywalker trampoline we had previously which fits comfortably in the corner of my son's bedroom. The 48" size fits 2 small children but would ideally fit 1 small child (I would say 5 years and under). If I could do it again I would probably go back to the 48" trampoline as our trampoline usually only being used by a child as young as 3 years old and not needing an extra jump place. If you are hoping to use this with multiple children or for children over the age of 5 I would say that 60" is the best choice for you. And though I like the smaller size of a 48" monitor, the 60" monitor is still suitable for indoor use. I cannot confirm the durability of this product but for the price I paid I would be happy if it would last 1 year (but I think it's made well enough to last longer) For reference, my first trampoline - Skywalker 48 - served us from November 2014 to June 2016. The trampoline mat itself, the bungee cords and the metal posts n were in excellent condition but the mesh and foam were torn. The only valid complaint. I have one complaint about this product (which is a complaint related to the product itself, not my personal preference) that my children's feet are black off the mat when they leave the trampoline. I don't know if this is a temporary problem or not. I let my kids put their socks on when they come in and then let them take their socks off when they come out so they don't soil my carpet. And I firmly believe that the black color transfers to the floor as I spotted the problem from the start. lots of black dirty footprints on our white bathroom floor πŸ˜•. Due to the black color coming off my kids feet (which makes me uncomfortable) I am deducting this 1 star. Edit: The black color from the carpet no longer rubs off. As this is a temporary issue, I'm increasing my rating to 5 stars. I am attaching a picture to compare the sizes of the 48" Skywalker Round Trampoline and the 60" Skywalker Round Trampoline. Pictured is my 3 year old son and my 10 year old son.

Pros
  • Safe Design: This kids trampoline features a soft 360-degree grip that helps keep kids steady as they bounce. Body netting is sewn directly onto the jumping mat, eliminating gaps
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
