If you are installing these on a big truck like I did ( 2020 Chevy 2500HD Crew cab ) and you want to leave the module in the engine bay near the battery, you will need to buy 4 of the extension cable packages ( You will end up with 8 extensions and use 7 ). This could be eliminated if they offered a splitter. Speaking of splitters, if they offered them, it would be easy to add a few more lights in the frame if they were available.For reference, my installation path is as follows:2 pods in each wheel well. Driver rear: Cables ran over the top of gas tank to meet up with Pass rear.Driver and Pass rear: Ran up on the outside of frame and up through Pass Front wheel well. Will need 5 extensions.Driver Front: Ran up and coming into engine bay near brake master cylinder. Will need 2 extensions. Cable was ran where the back of the hood sits and zip tied to the Upfitter cables.Passenger Front: Ran to module.Module: Mounted to inner fender on passenger side near battery. There is a big hole in the internal fender support that allows you to place it inside there. You will have a lot of extra wiring from the extensions. You can bundle and zip tie or you can do what I did which was cut the excess out of the middle, solder and heat shrink and make it water tight.Also, the included toggle switch will not reach into the cab as the cables are not long enough mounting it this way. To be honest, I hate drilling holes in my dash and I want it to look as unmolested as possible. I simply ran an extension wire from my Aux Upfitter switch and used it to turn the lights on and took their switch out of the equation. Also, I used magnetic zip tie mounts to hold the wires on the bottom of the bed going from the Drivers Rear to the Passenger Rear.
