Review on 62in Brushed Aluminum Roboto Smart Ceiling Fan for Indoor and Outdoor use with Remote Control by Justin Cage

We bought two of these fans for our outdoor project. Should have paid more attention to reviews. The electricians spent 4 hours trying to get it working the first day but to no avail. We called the company and after troubleshooting they found that the 'receivers' were faulty and had to send us new ones. Now we had to wait for the electricians to return. They installed new receivers and after some adjustments they were able to get the fans running on a switch. Both fans had to be on the same switch or they couldn't get them to work. I was able to install the app and get fans to work independently through my phone. A month later, one of the fans needed a "firmware" update - at least that's what my phone told me. I should have ignored it but I clicked 'OK' and since then one of the two fans has failed and isn't working. Now another fan is running, but SO LOUD. RUN FROM THESE FANS - COMPLETE GARBAGE. Not sure what we're going to do - not sure I'll "fix" them, it'll stay that way. The decision is whether I keep paying the electrician to come out or just cut my losses and put in fans that work.
