Microphone problem - computer accessories and peripherals

The headphones only worked properly for about 2 months and only with sporadic use, then I started complaining from my meeting participants that my voice was breaking and they couldn't hear me could . When I switch to other headphones, attendees can hear me just fine, so it's not an internet or connectivity issue. There must be a problem with the microphone. Disappointed with how little use I got from them!
