Good damping with long travel, almost no damping in the first 1/2 inch of travel

Damping while riding, especially with significant suspension movement, is good. However, about half of the first inch of travel has little to no damping, making the jeep feel unstable at slow speed i.e. wobbling a lot more than the stock shocks, so I'll be replacing them with something that provides instant damping.
