These phones are great for our small office. The intercom feature is a great addition and a must-have. The sound quality is good, not excellent, but the other features on this phone more than make up for it. It works well with our voicemail system (via Time Warner) and the tone and ringer volume are easily adjustable (multiple ringtones for multiple lines. Hands-free tone is clear. Look directly into the phone so someone can hear you clearly. The phone lets you scale well (supports 16 extensions) and each base station supports a cordless handset (optional) We will continue to use this phone as we grow until we need more than 4 separate lines for several years until they exceed their functionality?product!
