Review on Shars Solid Metal Frame Micrometer by John Miranda
Appears to be good quality, takes some getting used to.
Who knows how to calibrate? For each size, choose a small standard? My 1-2" can I zero to 1" standard but measure my 2" standard and it's off? Shouldn't I also be able to calibrate my 0-1" to my 1" standard and being able to slide the 1 inch standard in and out of the anvil so perfectly straight?
