The air filter in the photo is exactly the same as the original air filter removed from the car. The locking tabs, which require a 90 degree turn to remove the filter as seen in the photos, are different from what came in the box. The locking tabs on the filter in the box have a push-pull locking mechanism. Instead of rotating the tabs 90 degrees to fix the filter. Insert the tabs 1/4" after the filter is installed to ensure a snug fit. Note. Telluride was the easiest filter I've ever changed. It required no tools. I also replaced the cabin filter, one another filter behind the glove box and no tools were required. Any mechanic or dealer should never charge a customer for this task as part of a general service. Too easy.
