I bought SGEYR 2 Port USB Switcher and used it for five months and when I realized I needed to control a third computer, I didn't hesitate to buy this 4 port version, which I've now been using for five days. Both units use the same small metal enclosure. It feels very solid and so do the USB cables that come with it. They are thick with solid feeling connectors, nothing flimsy about them. The connectors on the cables and the box fit perfectly, not too loose, not too tight. My Microsoft wireless keyboard and Logitech wireless mouse, each with a separate receiver plugged into the switchbox, both work flawlessly with all of the computers connected to the switch - as do USB flash drives and an old Android phone that I occasionally use as a USB web cam for two of the computers. And it all works without plugging a power adapter into the switch - it draws sufficient power from the connected computers. YMMV. The single button for switching between ports/computers works perfectly, and the four LEDs that indicate the currently connected port are clearly visible even from a sharp viewing angle. Unlike some other switches, the SGEYR switch automatically skips over ports with no live connection - including if you have a computer plugged into it, but the computer is powered off. All of that, along with the price - less than $15 - makes this a fantastic value.GO RAMS!
