2012 Chevy Traverse

I bought this cover after reading the reviews and got an XL for our 2012 Chevy Traverse. We have the second row captain's seats and I wanted something that provided protection, but would also keep our 85lb lab/pit mix in the back. I can't fully speak to the effectiveness of that, but I can tell you this cover is going to last a LONG time. It has thick, quilted, canvas type material on the top and a high quality rubber dot backing to keep it in place. As others have said, it has a nice little padding to it, but if you're going long distances or have an older dog that needs a little more TLC I'd lay another blanket on top or throw a dog bed back there. If you have an Enclave, Acadia or Traverse this is the size you want. It's a little long for having just the third row folded, but I just fold at the slotted inseam and then tuck that tiny extra bit underneath. If you have the bench seats for your second row this would easily cover those if you folded them down without leaving any exposed carpet. The straps take some muscle work to get around the headrest, but that's a design flaw with the car not the cover. With the unconditional warranty and the price, you can't go wrong with this purchase! Get it, just do it.****UPDATE***** it does NOT keep a jumper in the back, lol. I use the cargo hook at the back of the cargo area and clip his leash to it. Works perfectly. Keeps him and his fur back.
