After using this card for a few months I was shooting videos on my Canon EOS R. Suddenly the camera reported a card error. I couldn't format the card. Later I tried to format the card with Windows 10 and the card was not recognized. I touched the card and it felt hot. Does the card seem to have some hardware error? Despite repeated attempts, neither my Windows laptop nor my camera recognizes or reformats the card. Sony support is very slow to respond and seems to indicate that their recovery software can fix the card. No device can recognize the card. I've worked with technology long enough to know that the card had a hardware failure, which Sony doesn't acknowledge. From now on I will stick with SanDisk.
