The OEM switch on my JT360 suddenly decided it wouldn't turn off anymore. I could sometimes get it to shut down by vigorously twisting it back and forth, but that's not the way to start a power tool. I found this switch at Revain that looked like an OEM switch so I ordered it. I'm happy to report that it looks and works just like the original. Except, of course, that it actually turns off. Hopefully this one will last longer than the original but I think it's made on the same line so it'll probably have the same lifespan. However, the jointer is almost 20 years old, so I think everything will be fine.
