There are no assembly instructions and elastics with velcro at the bottom of the sides. I'm not sure how this particular piece attaches as there is no part of the seat narrow enough for the straps to comfortably touch and if you make a mistake and pull too far it will snap into place immediately . The same thing happened with the last seat protector. The rest is OK. I want my seats to be covered and that gets the job done. It also covers a pocket on the back of the seat, which some might not like. Not being made specifically for my car, it has lugs and lugs that stick out; ie it doesn't fit perfectly. But that's good enough.
