This is an amazing hitch and I love pretty much everything about it. The only problem I've had is that while it's impossible to steal the coupler head, once the coupler is attached to the receiver, the three cotter pins can be pulled out and the pins holding the head in place stolen . Don't ask me how I know that. Rather than expecting the cotter pins to be removed again, I opted for a more secure solution. I bought (from Amazon) a standard 18g 48" security cable, folded it in half and then threaded it through all the pins. I ended up putting the tires in the hitch lock before locking it. The only downside is that unlocking and pulling out the cable takes a few seconds longer than just pulling the cotter pins, but the upside is that my pins don't have to be swiped again.
