First off, the door that says 'LETTERS' swings in towards your door, not out and away from it. So the hole you cut in the door needs to be big enough to accommodate this. That in itself didn't bother me. I ended up readjusting this because when the lettered door swings open, there is enough end-to-end play in the hinge that it slides left or right to snap, preventing it from sticking at least half way or more which closes holes. So you literally have to climb in the door to pull it off. If you don't, you're going to have great old cravings. What a nice, solid construction. Well done. If there was a spring mechanism on the door I think it would work. Or alternatively, the wing swings away from the door. Even if he were tied up, it would be easier to free him.
