Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance your audio connectivity with the AudioQuest 90 Degree RCA Male to RCA Female Adapter by Becky Taylor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid and strong connection - a little pricey

I needed 90 degree connectors because my car had a line out converter/amplifier/subwoofer. I had a choice of drilling a large hole to run the RCA out or using 90 degree connectors; I decided to take the last option. The connections are very strong and tight - so much so that you have to be careful not to damage your component's RCA connectors. I would recommend slightly twisting back and forth as you pull rather than trying to pull straight away. This is good as connections are not lost. This is a fairly simple detail and quite expensive. I chose this one because of the bad reviews from some others here on Revain. My biggest (but small) issue is that they are sold individually and you can't choose the color of the strap (I have two black ones). I suppose only I'll be interested in that, but it would be nice to see this in a 2 pack with the correct red/black markings. In terms of performance, they only feed a low frequency signal into my subwoofer, but they work. Big. My line out converter provides enough voltage for my amp gain to be set to zero. If they experience signal loss, it's imperceptible. Good product, a bit expensive.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues
