THESE ARE GOLD PLATED. I can't believe I was NOT able to figure out whether these connectors were gold plated or not from the description here on Revain OR on the Audioquest website. BUT none of this is mentioned. I have just received a pair and the BACK of the box says they are GOLD PLATED. Audioquest should have made this information available on their website and included it in the description. ANYWAY they are solid, good quality and GOLD PLATED.

If you are looking for an adapter to reduce component depth with RCA connectors I would say you have found what you are looking for. Excellent quality and materials, I am pretty sure this will be the only set I will ever need. Reliable connection, although easy to remove. Warning - should be sold in pairs. I have many AudioQuest products: Type4 and X2 speaker cables, Pearl HDMI cables, Black Lab subwoofer cables, banana jacks, headphone stands and more, and I can say, that this is also a quality piece. I needed 90 degree connectors because my car had a line out converter/amplifier/subwoofer. I had a choice of drilling a large hole to run the RCA out or using 90 degree connectors; I decided to take the last option. The connections are very strong and tight - so much so that you have to be careful not to damage your component's RCA connectors.
