Best option for running multiple case fans

This was exactly what I needed because I had 7 CPU fans connected. Very simple: The fans copy the CPU fan. You connect the board to the motherboard header of the CPU fan and then to the Molex for power. Depending on the size of your fan cables you may need an extension cable and I would say it's best to mount it in the middle of the case for easy access. I only had to add an extension for a fan. I can't tell how strong the glue is because I screwed mine in, but as long as you don't have to put too much stress on the cable you'll be fine!

Pros
  • RED is likely to be a pass-through for the CPU fan. So the hub has a power source that is powered by the computer's power supply, then the speed is controlled by the speed of the "source" fan. You can connect to the CPU fan pin on the system board or to the chassis fan pin. Ten fans spin at the same speed that the system assigned to that fan. If the case fan is configured in BIOS to run at 50%, you have 10 fans running at 50%.
Cons
  • Too long to wait
