I lost my remote control key and ordered a replacement, but I also wanted to replace the fob. It was much better than wasting time going to the locksmith, waiting and overpaying. It came quickly, I plugged it in and programmed the fob in less than 2 minutes. The only downside is that you MUST flash all your keyfobs with the vehicle at the same time! I didn't and took my husband's phone but the key fob wouldn't unlock/didn't work. Simple fix, I plugged it in and reprogrammed all the remotes at the same time. A little longer, but still very fast. I'm glad I took my time when I discovered this. Now that I have the programming key in my garage safe, I can reorder the "cheap" $10-$15 key fobs and program as many as I need. This product is ideal for those with a fleet of Chevy vans.
