So I bought it in December 2010 and I'm still using it! I bought it to replace one of those expensive "professional" remotes that couldn't cut it. Here's a case where you don't get what you pay for. I could and would have bought 10 of these when they started breaking instead of paying $250 or what I paid for another one. Thing is, it's got everything you need, great reception and responsive buttons. Those expensive remote controls that your installer has to force you to buy are complete fakes. Some of them are pretty amazing and semi-simple. Trouble is, you'll never get help with that remote again after the company is done. They can help you a couple of times, but look, they got their money from you, they won't help you with the remote again. Do yourself a favor and get a remote that YOU can use and program. This is your system.
