I received my 'new' Limited Edition Squadrons Xbox Controller yesterday and was immediately upset. One side of the box was taped to the bubble wrap and on removal it was found that the original tape had been cut and the re-tape had come loose and was stuck to the wrapper. A double band was visible on the other side. I checked my order to make sure I wasn't going crazy and 'Buy New' was selected. As I'm "new" I didn't look at the reviews. But now I see I'm not the only one who gets an already opened box. So I decided to open the box again to see what I got. The packaging matched the product description. The photos show the back cover is misaligned so the plastic is misaligned and the echelon stripes are misaligned and evenly aligned. That makes me think it's renovated and not new. Very disappointing. I charged and tested it and everything works fine.
