Finally a picture frame clamp that works, hallelujah! I bought pony clips, adjustable clips, ratchet clips, Dewalt and Irwin clips and none of them worked well on picture frames. Well, this one did. Finally. YOU MUST GET THE PLIERS SO TRY TO BUY THEM TOGETHER. The spring is so difficult to loosen (it has to be to work) that without hands, like a lumberjack or climber, you'll be searching your entire garage for something to rip it apart. I used my own Knipex pliers but this was a workaround that took longer. Buy a pair of pliers with these clamps. Won't damage two sets of 4 clips to make a picture frame. If your frame is wide or curved inwards, you can attach 4 clips at the top and 4 at the bottom of each beveled corner for even bonding and maximum pressure. An elegant and simple solution. Glue all frame corners at once with Titebond 3. Don't worry about glue leakage, easy to clean during and after gluing. Use pliers to pinch one corner. Then do the opposite corner by yourself. Then two others. Use a damp cloth to wipe excess glue off the front of the frame. Turn the frame face down and pinch the bottom if you can. If the frame is bent, you need to do this. If the frame is lying flat on the ground, this is not necessary. Peel off the other side of the glue or let it dry and scrape off the sharp chisel.
