Bought these so my 6 month old son can see my face at the doctor's office. He was due for injections and being in new surroundings and being poked with needles needed a familiar face to comfort him. Not only was it easier for me to breathe (rather than being in a suffocating mask that housed my own bacteria), my baby could see my face and barely cry! I cannot imagine how mouth and nose masks interfere with brain development in children. They are easy to assemble and you can easily use a set several times. There is a protective film on both sides of the flexible visor, so make sure you remove both before attaching it to your goggles. I only did one movie at first and they aren't the quickest to take apart - which is nice that you don't fall apart! Once the shield is connected to the goggles, the temples of the goggles don't fold down for compact/flat storage, making them easier to scratch - but it's also a 10-pack so I'm not worried. The shield also goes down quite a bit - under my chin; it blocks all of your exhalations, but not so much that it clouds anything. Very happy with this purchase.
