The fans are pretty good. I thought it was a bit expensive for fans without a remote control. But I bought 3 of these for my new house. The style was very close to the fans in my other two rooms. The woman was very happy about it! Previous reviews point to poor ceiling fan instructions. Installing ceiling fans for the first time can be a little tricky. But they're pretty quiet on low and medium. Like most ceilings, they vibrate a little at height. However, I am happy with the purchase and would buy them again.
