We were looking for a new range hood to replace my old microwave hood which I bought with more CFM at the time, but after four years of changing the filter almost every three weeks due to overcooking it was the only expensive one Trip, also it now sounds like an old truck and doesn't smoke and smell like it used to, even after changing the filter the headlights are also burned out so it's time for a drastic change. After some searching we came across this amazing range hood with permanent filters that we don't need to replace, they can be hand washed or dishwasher safe. We love the professional, modern look of this 30-inch range hood. Hood insert, so beautifully crafted from durable and brushed stainless steel. Efficient copper motor ensures strong suction, namely 600 CFM (suction power), quickly removes oil vapors and harmful carcinogens, this fan pulls a lot of air through the double centrifuge. L fan, so air noise can be heard, but the motor is not noisy. This hood insert can be installed in duct or without duct (Carbon filters need to be purchased separately), suitable for 6" round duct and without duct. Last but not least, the lighting is bright 2 3W energy saving LED bulbs, which is a great upgrade for my not so bright microwave hood is can't wait for my husband to install it but we need to make some modifications to our cabinet to make it fit but it will be worth the time, wait and money and I know that I will be happy with the results.
