If you have an easy install they will work as supplied. However, be prepared to think a little. Whether your warehouse has high or low ceilings or rafters, let your creativity run free. Basically, a factory setup will position the kayak more than 18 inches from the ceiling resulting in the floor being at head height and likely hitting the car if attempting to store over a car or truck. The instructions state that the brackets can be used on joists hanging in any direction, but they cannot be installed between joists without modification or locking. I had a very low ceiling in my barn that needed to be addressed. It took about 2.5 hours from start to finish. Added lockout, removed two recommended mounts, removed two J-hook hangers, added two eyebolts to replace the J-hooks, and the kayak hangs about 7 inches from the ceiling. The rope is of good quality and the locks work well. Spring.
