I bought this for my favorite flying squirrel. He got hurt when a cat got him, so we took him with us. He just LOVES this hammock. It serves its purpose. Nothing was wrong with him. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because he did the renovation himself. He chewed through all the holes in the blue felt to get into the hammock. He will not sleep in the middle where they should sleep. He made a hole. He stuffed God knows what up his hole. I won't put my hand in to find out. The product itself is great. To be honest I'm not sure if they could make it a squirrel. He also likes to pee and poop on the roof of the hammock and now it stinks horribly. However, I can't wash him because that's his safe zone. He made it his. If I wash him I'm afraid it will ruin his little holes. He's a lot bigger than I thought. Although that's normal for me as this is actually his whole world. He sticks his little nose out of one of his makeshift holes and waits for me to feed him. He also kept acorns in his burrows. The hammock is cute and works great. It's definitely not indestructible when you have a crazy little creature like mine. He loves his little hammock and never leaves it. That's really all that matters!
