I have very angry rats, they will destroy everything. What I show in the picture only took 4 days. They love to tear thin materials.

My 4 rats LOVE this hammock! The patterned fabric is a linen-like material and the blue fabric is soft. All 4 rats can snuggle up to each other. They chewed it off a bit but I think it will last. The hooks are great.

Appears to be well made. My guinea pig uses it as a blanket/shelter rather than to climb in. I got it because it's a lot cleaner than a bed on the floor of his cage. He continued to write to him. That doesn't happen with this product.

I'm only giving 2 stars because it came with the rings removed from the hammock. These are key rings, quite small so it is very difficult to attach them to the 0 rings. Also, the metal clasps used to hang them in the cage are very small and flimsy. I broke 2 trying to install it and had to use the stronger clamps I had to order for this purpose. All in all a poor thing.

Overall this hammock works great and comes in two cute colors! It's like a bunk bed in a hammock as the rats have slept in and on it allowing 3 or 4 larger rats to fit at a time (I have 4 larger males). For cleaning we can machine wash and dry them, but we only wash them in cold water on the gentle cycle and then dry them without heat. I bought this for my favorite flying squirrel. He got hurt when a cat got him, so we took him with us. He just LOVES this hammock. It serves its purpose. Nothing was wrong with him. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because he did the renovation himself. He chewed through all the holes in the blue felt to get into the hammock. He will not sleep in the middle where they should sleep. He made a hole. He stuffed God knows what up his hole. I won't put my hand in to find out. The product…
