Overall this hammock works great and comes in two cute colors! It's like a bunk bed in a hammock as the rats have slept in and on it allowing 3 or 4 larger rats to fit at a time (I have 4 larger males). For cleaning we can machine wash and dry them, but we only wash them in cold water on the gentle cycle and then dry them without heat. Remove the metal clips before washing and put them back on after drying. Aside from the special washing instructions and the slightly irritated strapping in the cage, they work well and the little rat pups love them! Two paws up!
