This product is great for quickly adding a new edge to any blade. This water stone is not designed to create a clean edge. For a clean edge you need a higher grit, e.g. B. a Waterstone with a grit of 8000 or higher. I use four different grain values, starting with the lowest grain value to the highest in sequential order. And then I do the final polishing of the edges with green oxide on the leather strap.
- Made of high-quality silicon carbide, the 400-grit side is suitable for everyday sharpening, e.g. B. for repairing large cutting edges and polishing knives.
