Living in an apartment makes it difficult for me to use an electric grinder. Abrasive sponges are very easy to use. They also do an excellent job on surfaces that have been dirty for years. After that, all you have to do is use a spray bottle, rinse and dry. I've used the same sponges for different projects. They still retain their original strength. They work much better than ordinary sandpaper. Cleaning is much easier.
