At least for the product I received, the instructions showed wires with the wrong color. Luckily it didn't even specify the color of the wires (no pink or purple or anything) and the product description or one of the reviews here had a picture of the correct instructions. Otherwise I'd have to research and figure out what each wire is. Once I had the right wires, installation was easy enough. The biggest challenge was just deciding where to hide the box itself and how to attach it.
