good cable But in docking stations

This cable worked fine for the WD15 with some modifications to the dock itself. It appears this cable is for TB15 not WD15. You can see in the pictures that the cable has these pins or lugs on either side of the connector. These spacers sit in a plastic shell inside the docking station and guide it into a proper fit. For TB15, the cable has standoffs (male ends) and the plastic shell has sprocket holes (female end). With WD15 the opposite is true. In order for this cable to work with WD15 you will need to cut, sand and drill the end of the cable. (not recommended) Either open the dock and remove the plastic shell or drill out the posts in the plastic shell. Personally, I just removed the plastic shell. There is a ribbon cable on top of the tray that must be handled carefully to avoid pulling or tearing it. The cable is held in place by two screws so it's secure and I won't be popping this cable in and out of the dock. Taking the pan out was the easiest way for me. Of course, you can just buy the right cable. I bought this one by accident, didn't want to return it and then sorted out the rest. Hope it helps someone.
