Never thought it would be difficult to find a toaster that toasted evenly on both sides. This is my 4th or 5th toaster in the last 30 days; started with the most expensive toasters thinking that at this price point it should toast perfectly; NOT CORRECT. Not only did it not brown on either side, but the bread got stuck when it popped out. Search for the best toaster and read dozens of reviews. Who knew it was more work than buying a new car! All I want is for my toast to be evenly toasted on both sides - is that really that hard? Think about it - it's a TOASTER; Isn't that the whole idea of a toaster? Place the bread inside, the low heat elements inside the toaster will light up and toast the toast for a short time and then float upwards. Why do some toasters toast one side normally and the other side randomly (maybe top OR bottom or just the side). Hmm, I'm wondering what's going on in their quality control :-). Anyway, I've found the perfect toaster and this is it! Great value for money, toast evenly on BOTH sides, just like a toaster should. Don't hesitate if you are looking for a toaster for a good job; Don't let the fact that this toaster is relatively cheap doesn't make it a good toaster, it's the BEST toaster around. I've been using it for over a month now and I still love it. English muffins have never been toasted so well and evenly. I can't say enough about how well this toaster does its job!
