This desk is not durable. It has two layers, but only one can support any weight. At a higher level you can just place a cup of coffee or maybe a modem and that's it. That leaves only the next level. So if you're using a desktop, keyboard, and mouse, there's no room for all three. It boils down to the fact that it can only be used for a laptop. I use a generic 21" desktop for work which doesn't work with this desk. As mentioned above, the top level cannot bear the weight because the table is broken, and the second level cannot hold the computer, keyboard and mouse.
