New valve cover installed with ease and works great. I had a little problem with the installation as the screw holes didn't quite line up. Great. This was the result of a slight bulge on the cover that I got, meaning the center touches the motor in front of either side, leaving about a 1/16 inch gap left and right. I decided to tighten the right side first as it's the hardest to access and then I was able to safely bend the left side into place, aligning everything and getting a proper seal. No leaks. or problems already after 200 km, with a cold start at an ambient temperature of -15 °C to +20 °C (59 °F to 68 °F). Overall very happy for the price but this small blemish is what takes me off a star.
