A rave review made me order without hesitation, but the part that baby's head rests on is actually so thin it looks like he's sleeping directly on a blanket or mattress. The side "bulge" is also too thin to hold his head in place. My son actually slides right out and sleeps right on top of the mattress. I have other baby pillows that hold his head in place much better. The overall shape of the pillow is VERY cute, the cotton is soft and cute (so I ordered 2 to use one in his gym/stroller and the other in the cradle) but I definitely regret the purchase.
