Waterproof - I don't know how but it appears to be waterproof. I mean it's wet because it's in the water, but once when the water isn't full of water and you don't have to wring it out or anything. And also. it looks beautiful! It comes with a handy drying hook so you can hang it to dry the rest of the way. It also comes with a laundry bag so you can throw it in the washing machine to clean it. The?! Yes, it can be washed. I love this bath pillow!
