First of all, these are not original GM parts, they are Chinese copies. The all-round serrated retaining ring is identical to the original part and works perfectly. The ring that goes into the bumper is not made like the original and does not fit our GMC Yukon, the tabs are wider and not positioned correctly. I suggest keeping your old ring that fits in the bumper and just using a serrated snap ring. I spent at least half an hour putting the ring in the bumper but nothing. I went to the dealer and bought a new bumper ring, after comparing the original ring to this one I saw the difference.
