Good product unclogs an HP printhead. On an HP printer, the black printhead was completely clogged. Initially used alcohol and an electronics cleaner to clean the head, but the clog persisted. A few years ago the standard procedure was to take the printer apart and soak the printhead in alcohol - a very big and messy job. Bought the kit hoping to avoid the time and hassle of the past process. The kit would have been better if there had been detailed instructions. Instead of using one large dose of the solution, I calculated multiple applications of around 1-2ml every 10-15 minutes for two hours. Then I ran the printhead cleaning routine on the printer to see if there was an improvement. Continue applying until the printhead delivers the correct result. The process ensures the original print quality.
