Review on Huffy Kids Electric Ride On Car Mini Quad, Yellow (19148P) by Michael Ghosh

NOT BAD ENOUGH TO RETURN, BUT WOULDN'T BUY AGAIN

THIS LOOKS MORE FUN THAN IT IS. MY 2.5 YEAR OLD GRANDSON THINKS IT LOOKS EXCITING, BUT THE RIDE IS NOT. HE DOESN'T LIKE THE WAY IT JERKS AT TAKEOFF; SO, HE DOESN'T PLAY WITH IT MUCH AT ALL. HE ACTUALLY LIKE THE BLOCKS BETTER THAN THE 4 WHEELER. MY ISSUE IS THE SMALL SIZE. IT IS NOT A TOY YOU WOULD BUY FOR A CHILD YOUNGER THAN 2.5 AND 3 WOULD PROBABLY BE A BETTER AGE; HOWEVER, HE BARELY FITS ON IT NOW, AND HE IS ONLY IN THE 60 PERCENTILE IN SIZE. MAINLY, IT IS THE FOOT REST. HIS SIZE 7 SHOE IS TOO LONG, AND HE IS ABOUT TO GO INTO A LARGER SHOE ANY DAY NOW. HIS KNEES ARE ALSO CLOSE TO THE FRONT. THE KINETIC SAND TABLE WITH SMALL CONSTRUCTION TRUCKS WAS BY FAR A BIGGER HIT.

Pros
  • The mini quad ride-on is so easy to use; your preschooler just pushes the left power button to start, and then the right button to accelerate up to 1.5 mph; steering is simple with the easy-driving handlebar
Cons
  • Limited availability may result in difficulty finding replacement parts or accessories
